Not recommend
We are not able to clearly state whether they will work properly with the OPL Monitor application.
If you decide to use a other device than listed before, beware of low-quality devices mainly from China. These interfaces usually doesn't have the full implementation of the ELM327 specification and may not be compatible with the application.

Extra functions

The application allows you to run special functions.
(The availability depends on the car model and equipment)

Infotainment and Multimedia Options

Enable or disable additional multimedia system options.

Applies to cars equipped with IntelliLink Navi900 (IO6) and Touch RF700 (IO5) multimedia systems based on HMI 2.5 module.

Available options:

  • Rear View Camera
    To activate the reversing camera in cars where it was not factory installed.
    The original camera or a replacement operating in the NTSC system should be installed.


  • Video In Motion
    Play videos while driving and enable some DIVX format.
    Supported movie resolution: 480х320, 480х368, 712х400, 720х400, 1280х720, 1920х1088
    Suportet file format: .mp4, m4v, .wmv, .mpg.
    Supported Video Codec: MPEG-4 (H.264)
    Supported Video Codec: MPEG-4 AAC
    Please note that watching movies while driving may be dangerous for the driver. Movies should be watched only by passengers.

  • Touchpad-a Activation
    Activates an additional Touchpad in cars where it was not factory-installed.

  • Themes
    Changing the color variant of the display. Available options: Opel, Vauxhall, Buick, Chevrolet, Cadillac, GMC
    Note: If a different graphic theme is set, some graphic elements could not be displayed correctly, e.g. some icons may not be displayed.

  • Main Logo & Animations
    Changing the start logo and animation to one of the variants: Opel, Vauxhall, Buick, Chevrolet, Corvette, GMC, Cadilac

  • More Interface Language unlock
    Unlocking additional interface languages. Usefull after importing a car from the USA to EU

This function works only with vLinker MC or OBDLink MX+ OBD interface.

This function allows you to expand the options in the Instrument Cluster Panel.

Reverse Camera Activation

This function works for the Radio / Navigation:

Infotainment Unlock

Function will remove Theft protection in the Infortaiment system after replacing the Radio module, Human-Machine Interface module (HMI), CD Player or Audio Amplifier.

This function works for the Infortaiment with IO5 or IO6 RPO Code
